A precious gift of god
That everyone including animals
Deserve is a Mother
Mother’s love comes in any form
Be it your Nani, Masi or Sister
Or sometime your father also
That doesn’t matter only loves counts.

Some human beings desire for mother’s love
But they don’t get it
Whereas some are so lucky that
They have two mothers
Like Mom and Nani or Mom and Sister.

I am that luckiest one as
I have Mom and Nani as a Mother
That’s why I never felt so
Alone in my life.

Thank you Mom and Nani
For always being there for me
When ever I wanted
Love and miss you both
Happy Mother’s Day.

Hope to be Like My Mother Someday

As a daughter of Ranjeeta Nath Ghai aka atrangizindagieksafar I feel so proud of her.

Her maiden book ‘Mann Ki Aarzoo’ being displayed at New Delhi World Book fair and Chennai Book Fair meant a lot to her. Hope she is successful in her ventures. Love you Maa.

I hope to be like her and one day and publish a book of my own.

Belonging to an Army background
Let me warn you…Our life is not stable
As we keep on moving
Place by place and meet new people.

***

Recognizing and understanding
Different people and staying at various places
Is difficult but at the same time quite interesting
As we get to know our Nation and its citizens.

***

That how exactly our lifestyle is
Staying in a place for two years
And then shift to another. But that’s enough
To know, how each place and its people are.

***

Though some people said that
‘Postings affect our child’s future’
As a result, they stay separated
But I and my mother proved them wrong.

***

I kept on moving to various places with my father.
That’s how I completed my schooling
By studying in various schools, because my mother decided
That separated we will never be as we are; A Family.

***

Thanks to God that he helped keep us together.
One thing that posting taught me is
The power of making new relationships and adjusting in new places.
And so I love travelling around the world.

Distances Don’t Matter

I met someone somewhere
Whom I didn’t know earlier
A friendly and a down to earth person
Who later became a part of our life.
***
I met him at his home
On the day my parents had their anniversary.
After that we kept on meeting
On our regular visits for dog’s checkups.
***
As I got to know him better, attachment grew
We bought all our dog’s accessories from his clinic
We spent some quality time together. My family and him.
Today, I remember all the precious moments spent with him.
***
As time passed the bond became stronger.
The homemade beaten coffee and kurkura
For my brother were integral parts of our evenings.
His Pedigree packets me and my brother converted into chairs!
***
My furry buddy Simba was also selected and given by him.
On my birthday I sent him an invite
Both the families enjoyed a memorable dinner that night.
And that’s how we all came closer.
***
Before leaving that Ajmer he invited us
For last for dinner together. And that was the last we met.
Thanks to social media we are still connected
And to the most lovable person I know, I dedicate these lines.

A Wake-up Call

In today’s world
People don’t have time
For themselves and family
Due to overwork.
*
People should understand
That it is harming their life
By not allowing them to live the way they want.
Don’t you see!! It’s pushing you down due to burden!
*
So wake up people!
Leave your tensions and burdens behind
And enjoy the life to its fullest
As you shall not get it again….ever!!

Life Is A Marathon

By-Rishika Ghai

Life is a Marathon
Which everyone has to go through
It starts the day you are born
And ends with the last breath.

Each stage in your life
That you go through
Is a difficult task, full of obstacles
And challenges which we have to overcome.

Like coming into the world,
Enjoying childhood, becoming mature,
Studying and making future,
Settling in life and having a family of your own.

Relaxing at old age and
At last… dying peacefully
All these are not less than
Any marathon in life.
